Approving the construction planning of Minh Long district

​Accordingly, Minh Long district has a total natural land area of ​​237.19 km2, with 5 administrative units including 05 communes of Long Mai, Long Son, Long Hiep, Thanh An and Long Mon.

The whole Minh Long district has 18,326 people, a density of 78 people/ km². It is forecasted that by 2030, the district's population will be about 22,000 people, the average population growth rate of 1.62%/ year; by 2040, about 26,000 people, the average population growth rate of 1.52%/ year.

Minh Long district’s development orientation focuses on network of urban centers, industrial clusters, tourist - service areas and residential areas suitable to the allocation of economic regions suitable to development capacity; at the same time associated with preserving and promoting cultural values.
