Clean water for rural areas in Quang Ngai

​From 2016 to 2019, the Center for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation has upgraded and repaired 08 damaged, inactive or inefficient works of communes, providing clean water for rural people.

With the attention of the provincial People's Committee, the departments and agencies have allocated medium-term capital from the National Program on Construction Environment to the Center for upgrading, repairing and expanding the centralized water supply works in order to promptly supply clean water to people.

In addition, the Center has used the funding source of water supply service to repair, connect and promptly solve water shortage problems caused by drought, damaged pipes in order to ensure the maintenance of water supply for people.

Not only investing new works, promoting the propaganda to the people on clean water usage and water conservation, the Center also pays special attention to improving the management efficiency of clean water works.

In 2020, the Center will complete upgrading and repairing works to supply clean water, such as: Pho Phong commune water supply system (Duc Pho district); domestic water supply system in Tinh Giang commune (Son Tinh district); domestic water supply system in Chau Thuan Nong and Chau Thuan Tay hamlets, Binh Chau commune (Binh Son district); water supply system in Duc Lan commune.
