Enterprises support for Covid-19 prevention and control
Thien Tan Group donated 1,000 masks to the press agencies
On March 31, at the Department of Information and Communications, Thien Tan Group organized the donation of 1,000 masks to the provincial press agencies and representative agencies and resident correspondents in the province.
The donation of masks to the press agencies is a source of encouragement for reporters and editors who are responsible for reporting and writing about the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the province.
Speaking at the masking ceremony, Chairman of Thien Tan Group Huynh Kim Lap shared: “Reporters and journalists are an important force on the information front and face many risks of epidemic infection. Therefore, Thien Tan Group decided to donate masks to the press agencies to encourage journalists and reporters to contribute to the prevention and epidemic of Covid-19.
Quang Ngai VNPT donated VND 150 million
On March 30, Quang Ngai Telecommunications (VNPT Quang Ngai) handed over VND 150 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province to join hands to prevent and combat covid-19.
Mr. Dao Duc Tuan - Director of Quang Ngai VNPT, all employees contributed one day's salary and deduct the Welfare Fund of the unit to participate in support. Thereby, the total amount mobilized by VNPT was VND 150 million.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Cao Phuc thanked the timely support and contribution of the Quang Ngai VNPT team, which encouraged and strengthened the fight against the COVID-19.
All funding will be transferred by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to the Standing Committee of the COVID-19 Provincial Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control as soon as possible to support and serve the prevention fight against Covid-19 in the province.
Hoa Phat Group supported VND 5 billion in prevention of Covid-19 epidemic
On March 16, 2020, Hoa Phat Group transferred VND 2 billion to the Central Tropical Hospital (Facility 1) and VND 3 billion to the Covid-19 Disease Prevention Fund, which was received and managed by the Ministry of Health.
Up to March 31, nearly 20 units, organizations, businesses and individuals in the province contributed to support with the amount of nearly 1 billion VND.
In a time when the epidemic was complicated, the receipt of funds to support the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province in addition to payment via accounts, direct deposit, the transfer via Internet Banking accounts has created conditions for units, businesses and individuals are more flexible in their support.
The cooperation of the whole society has added enormous resources and the provincial political system in the prevention and control of epidemics, ensuring health and stabilizing the life of the people.
