Implementing communication programs to prevent and minimize mine action
Recently, the Quang Ngai Red Cross Association in collaboration with Project RENEW has implemented the agreement signing Ceremony to implement the mine risk reduction communication program in the period of 2020-2021.
This communication program managed by Quang Ngai Red Cross Association in coordination with Project RENEW Office in Quang Tri with support from the Irish Aid (IA) - Embassy of Ireland in Vietnam, will be implemented in Ba To and Nghia Hanh districts.
The program’s target aims to raise the awareness of children and adults about the dangers of bombs, mine; reduce incidents caused by bombs and mines and help localities collect information on detection of bombs and mines in the community to transfer to authorities.
This is a program that is suitable to the reality, aiming to enhance education and communication on the dangers of mines and bombs in population communities and schools.
