Quang Ngai announces the result of reviewing foreign workers from nCoV epidemic areas
According to the result, the whole province has 2,039 foreign workers working before the Lunar New Year 2020. In particular, the total number of Chinese workers is 1,660 people. The number of Chinese coming home for Tet is 1,416. Up to now, the number of Chinese laborers returning to work in Quang Ngai is 221 people.
Facing with the complicated situation of the nCoV epidemic, businesses have isolated 221 Chinese people to monitor their health status. To date, the health of these workers is normal without sign of nCoV disease.
According to the report of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the whole province has 72 enterprises employing foreign workers in VSIP Industrial Park, Tinh Phong Industrial Park, Quang Phu Industrial Park, Dung Quat Economic Zone and units and companies outside industrial zones. Among them, there are 20 enterprises using Chinese laborers.
Through inspection, these businesses have implemented well the direction of the provincial People's Committee and the guidance of the health sector in actively preventing nCoV epidemic; meanwhile, monitoring workers returning from the epidemic areas. Some businesses have provided free masks, hand washing soap for workers and equipped with body temperature machine to control disease at the enterprises.
