Quang Ngai needs 49,245 billion VND for the new rural program in the period of 2021-2025

After four years of implementing the program, the whole province reduced 23,876 poor households. By the end of 2019, Quang Ngai has 27,964 poor households, accounting for 7.69 per cent. Per capita income in rural areas in the province increased from VND 19.29 million in 2016 to VND 27.61 million in 2018. Total capital for the new rural building program in the province for 2016-2019 is at 9,270.5 billion VND.

In the period 2021-2025, Quang Ngai plans to have 7 districts and 119 communes meeting new rural standards, and no communes meeting below 10 criteria.

To achieve the set targets, the expected capital demand implementation of the program in the period of 2021-2025 will be about  49,245 billion dong. Of which, the state budget will be 7,387 billion dong (15%); integrated capital will be 2,462 billion dong (5%); credit will be 28,070 billion dong (57%); capital from organizations, enterprises will be 7,387 billion dong (15%); contributions from the community will be 3,939 billion dong (8%).
