Quang Ngai stops to receive tourists since March 20 for Covid-19 prevention
Since March 20, tourist sites, museums, community tourism areas and amusement parks in Quang Ngai province will temporarily stopped receiving domestic and foreign tourists. Tourist areas with accommodation and services could continue to operate.
Quang Ngai province also directs tourism sector, localities and functional agencies to strictly check visitors at accommodation establishments, making medical declarations according to regulations.
The provincial Police have to strengthen the review and verification of foreigners and Vietnamese citizens who entered Quang Ngai within 14 days before March 13, 2020 in order to make medical declarations. At the same time, coordinate with the health sector and hotels, accommodation establishments to isolate, monitor and supervise as prescribed.
Earlier, on March 09, Quang Ngai province also decided not to receive tourists to Ly Son Island.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri - Director of Quang Ngai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the provincial People's Committee also issued a written direction to close all tourism facilities and sites until having new direction.
