Quang Ngai temporarily stops accepting workers from the epidemic area to return to work

​Accordingly, enterprises temporarily stopped receiving workers from Chinese epidemic areas to return to work.

According to the latest report, in Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks in Quang Ngai Province, there are now 33 enterprises with a total number of 593 foreign employees.

Among them, there are 14 enterprises employing 491 Chinese laborers. Currently, 6 enterprises with 286 Chinese laborers have returned to work after the Tet holiday.

Facing the complicated situation of acute respiratory infection caused by new strain of corona virus, Quang Ngai People's Committee directed the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Zones to urgently work with the enterprises for not receiving laborers from epidemic regions in China to return to Vietnam to work.

For returning employees, quarantine is required within 14 days. If detecting cases of suspected Corona virus infection, they must immediately notify and coordinate with medical establishments in the locality to take measures to isolate treatment and prevent spread.

Quang Ngai People's Committee also chose the 2nd facility of Binh Son District Health Center (formerly Dung Quat General Hospital) as a place for receiving, quarantining and treating nCoV cases.

The health sector also allocates human resources, appropriate equipment, ensures safety and absolutely prevents the epidemic from spreading.
