To promote rice exports in 2020
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has recently assigned the Department of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to take the initiative and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to study the request of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Document No. 552 / BCT-XNK dated January 21, 2020 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on promoting rice export in 2020 to implement the promotion of rice export in the province; at the same time, strictly implement the reporting regime as prescribed.
Under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Official Letter No. 552 / BCT-XNK of January 21, 2020, People's Committees of provinces and cities formulate and organize the implementation of the rice production planning.
They focus on directing the supply of materials, seed structure, performing cultivation techniques to raise the quality of rice to meet the market demand.
At the same time, the chairman direct the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Industry and Trade and related agencies to closely monitor developments of domestic rice and rice prices and promptly report them to ministries and branches when there are abnormal fluctuations.
