UNESCO will appraise the Ly Son - Sa Huynh geological park

​When being approved, this will be an opportunity to develop tourism and preserve the thousand-year cultural values in Quang Ngai province.

Currently, the Management Board of Ly Son - Sa Huynh Geopark continues to coordinate with the Institute of Geosciences and Mineral Resources to prepare documents and zoning the heritage conservation areas.

The Board has also coordinated with agencies, localities and departments to implement training, communication activities, community awareness raising and training in schools belonged to the Park’s area; building, embellishing, upgrading facilities to serve tourists for all 89 stops of 4 geological tourist routes; building and embellishing information centers; promoting the value of heritage types, etc.
